A Family-Filled Summer

We've seen more of our family this summer than we have since Jared and Adrianne were married!  Of course we have Matt and Danny to thank for this.  With Matt's marriage and Danny's mission call and Grace's baptism we've had a great time.  The double rainbow from last Friday was like a stamp of confirmation on the good times.

A full house means a full driveway and then some!

On Friday the more adventurous ones wanted to camp out at our special spot on the sands.  Once again I'm just blown away by where we live.

Bugsy and Peg returning from checking out the stinkbug population.

Shortly after this Jared and his family arrived after driving all the way from Southern California and Sea World and shortly after they arrived the rain came.  Since the dutch oven potatoes were all but done, we loaded them up and everyone (but Scott and Andy) came back into town to grill hot dogs and eat the taters.  The more hardy ones returned once the rain quit and spent the night.

The next day some of us took the obligatory trip to the towers.  We had a bit of excitement when the Rhino ran out gas and the jeep sprang a leak from a worn radiator hose and Andy had to come to our rescue with some gas and water!

Getting ready for the luncheon.  Many hands made the job easier and quicker.  Thanks, all.

Sacrament meeting was good.  Danny gave an excellent talk, Peg bore a wonderful testimony, Adrianne, Matt, and the grandkids sang 'Army of Helaman' and Matt and Jared offered the prayers.  It was a good meeting, even with a high councilman on the program!

Family.
