Another Bloody Tooth Day





Been awhile since I did a post like this.  Above is a poor photo of an xray of a second molar that was very long.  Some concern whether it would come out in one piece or not due to length and more critically, the humongous area of distal decay.  Since the first molar was also extensively involved we took it first, and then were fortunate enough to get the second out in one piece.


On these the secret is to be slow and steady and eventually you can expand the alveolar bond enough to get them out.  Usually.  Sometimes, however, we have to resort to power tools.  Not this time, though.
