The GOOD
Matt received a couple of scholarships, one from SUU and a small cash award from the Kathleen Downward Memorial Fund. That's Mark and Sherry Downward presenting Justin Powell, Matt, and Denise McAllister with scholarships from that fund.
The BAD
David Archuleta lost to David Cook in the finals of American Idol. That was a bummer.
The UGLY
Matt got a plaque honoring him for his service as KHS student body president. What's so ugly about that, you ask? They mispelled his last name as "Scmutz". We were not impressed. They promised to make him a new one.

Hahahaha that figures that they would spell his last name wrong!!!! Poor kid. That is great that Matt got some scholarships... he is to smart.. I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. Sorry about David A. I was actually pretty shocked that he lost.... Love ya guys
