When Peg and I took Matt up to the MTC last week we drove by the apartment house we were living in at the time Jared was born. It was white then, but not much else has changed, on the outside anyway. I hope that things have been improved inside! We lived in the lower right apartment. At the time we lived there there was only one furnace for the entire building and many times during the winter we had to leave a window open to avoid being broiled! The bathroom was so small we could sit at the toilet to take care of business and lean slightly forward to the sink and brush our teeth at the same time. Not that we ever did, mind you.
