Apparently there was a little bit of miscommunication about taking the clocks out but fortunately someone caught it (I think it was Kim W.) and the faces and hands were removed intact.
They brought in a huge cherry-picker and finished the removal in short order.
Then back to the business of tearing the building down. It's amazing that something that took months or even years to build can be destroyed so quickly.
The steeple faces its last sunset.

It is a little sad to see something that was such a part of my young life be torn down. Having remodeled the chapel years ago though softens the blow. I was never a fan of how they did that.
