This was the scene last Saturday night about 11pm when the State 2A baseball champs pulled into town. After a rocky start to the season the Cowboys came on strong and won when they had to down the stretch. They tied with Parowan for first in region, lost the coin flip and had to go to San Juan for the play-in games, won those and went to state last week. Thursday they beat Juab 5-3, the next day Richfield 8-6, and played San Juan Saturday for the championship. Down 12-2 in the fifth, they scored an incredible 10 runs in the bottom of the inning to tie it and eventually won it 14-13 with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Kudos to the whole team, boys and coaches. Danny was one happy camper.
